HashKey, the Hong Kong-based digital assets startup, has completed a US$100 million funding round.
The financing has pushed the startup’s valuation to $1.2 billion, making it the latest unicorn club member.
While no details of the latest investors have been disclosed, HashKey stated that they included institutional investors as well as Web3 companies.
The proceeds from the latest fundraising will be used to accelerate its product development.
The firm, which has offices in Hong Kong and Singapore, was launched in 2018.
In August, it launched HashKey Exchange which offered virtual assets trading to retail investors in Hong Kong.
