Antipodean fund manager, Milford Asset Management, has named ex-UBS manager, Marissa Rossi, as head of sustainable investments.
The new role is a promotion for Rossi who has been with Milford since 2019, having joined from UBS Asset Management where she was senior analyst, head of research and lead portfolio manager for its sustainable Australian equities strategy.
According to Milford chief investment officer, Wayne Gentle, Rossi will be further developing the specialist investment manager’s sustainable investment framework.
“This includes working with the investment team to further strengthen integration of ESG factors into our investment process,” he added.
Milford, which has more than US$8 billion of assets under management, has also recruited Jason Kururangi as a senior analyst in the Australian equities team. He joins from Aberdeen Standard where he spent eight years as an analyst and fund manager.
