Luxembourg-based investor services firm SGG Group has named Udit Gambhir as managing director of its Asian business.
Based in Singapore, Gambhir will be responsible for Singapore, Hong Kong, India and the broader Asian region.
“Asia is a key region in our expansion strategy and we will continue to commit and support our growth in this region,” said Christiaan Van Houtven, chief operating officer.
Gambhir joined SGG Group as part of its acquisition of Cim Global Business, a corporate, trust and fund administration provider with offices in Mauritius, South Africa and Singapore.
Prior to joining Cim Global Business, where he was business head for Asia, Gambhir worked in the transaction banking department at Standard Chartered.
SGG offers administrative and accounting services to investment funds, corporations and family offices in more than 25 countries.
