Northern Trust will appoint Angelo Calvitto as head of its Australasian business, replacing Madeleine Senior, who will take on a leadership role in London.
Calvitto, who will take on the new role on June 8, will oversee asset servicing, asset management and capital market services for institutional and asset manager clients in Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands.
“Northern Trust’s Australasia business has undergone a dynamic period of expansion over the past few years and been a key driver of growth across the broader Asia-Pacific region,” said William Mak, head of Asia-Pacific.
Calvitto joined Northern Trust in 2008, most recently serving as head of sales for the institutional business in Asia-Pacific.
Northern Trust employs 140 people in its Sydney and Melbourne offices. Worldwide, it has assets under custody or administration of more than $10 trillion.
