Vontobel launches Asia corporate bond fund

asia, bond fundSwiss fund manager Vontobel has launched a fixed income fund focused on Asian corporates. The Asian Bond fund will primarily invest in corporate bonds across the region, covering a range of hard currencies and different maturities. It has been launched alongside an emerging market investment-grade fund. Both funds will be domiciled in Luxembourg, with head of emerging market corporates, Wouter Van Overfelt, serving as fund manager. “The sentiment towards emerging markets fixed income has improved this year and, during these first few weeks of 2023, we have already seen significant interest from clients for the asset class,@ said head of fixed income Simon Lue-Fong. © 2023 funds global asia
