Hong Kong-based Value Partners has appointed Patricia Cheung as the chief operating officer.
Cheung will take the reins from May 1, 2020. The position has been held by two co-chief operating officers – including Cheung – since July 2019.
Cheung’s counterpart, Roger Hepper, will retire from his role as co-chief operating officer with the firm at the end of April.
Cheung’s experience in the financial sector spans almost two decades, and she has held senior positions in investment banking, central counterparty and asset management.
Value Partners manages US$13.7 billion in assets as of February 29, 2020.
