MUFG Securities Asia appoints CEO

HandshakeMUFG Securities Asia has appointed Mark Henderson as its chief executive effective from March 20, 2020. Henderson previously served as the deputy chief executive and chief risk officer. He succeeds Pierre Ferland. Ferland will continue in his capacity as the regional head of sales and trading and his responsibilities include stimulating sales and trading activities for global markets in both the bank and securities entities. With 18 years of experience with MUFG, Henderson has also had stints in EMEA and Asia with the Japanese firm.
