M&G bolsters Apac fixed income team

Bonds newspaperGlobal fund manager M&G has appointed Guan Yi Low as head of fixed income in Asia Pacific. The appointment is part of the firm’s ambition to establish and expand a fixed income investment team in the region. Yi Low will be based in Singapore, along with the rest of her new investment team, and will report to Jim Leaviss, chief investment officer of M&G’s public fixed income division, and Loretta Ng, head of Asia Pacific. Yi Low joins from Eastspring Investments where she was head of fixed income. “The build out of an Asia Pacific fixed income capability will enhance our global public debt platform and demonstrates our commitment to the region which has exciting long-term growth opportunities,” said Jack Daniels, managing director for asset management and chief investment officer, M&G. © 2022 funds global asia
