Australia-based Macquarie Asset Management has launched its first actively managed ETF in its home market.
The three funds - Macquarie Dynamic Bond Active, Macquarie Income Opportunities Active and Macquarie Walter Scott Global Equity Active ETFs – will be listed on the Australian Securities Exchange.
Macquarie will be entering into an increasingly crowded marketplace which has grown by approximately 17.14 billion US dollars in assets under management within the last 12 months.
At least three global asset managers – JPMorgan Asset Management, Abrdn and Dimensional Fund Advisors – have launched active ETFs in recent months.
