HSBC has named Noor Adhami as the head of securities services for Singapore. Her appointment will be effective as of February 1, 2021.
Adhami joined HSBC in 2004 and for the last four years has worked as regional head of global liquidity and cash management in Mena and Turkey.
She has also held the role of regional head of global liquidity and cash management on an interim basis.
Adhami will report to Brian Godins, head of securities services Asia Pacific, and Gavin Powell, head of markets and securities services Singapore.
“Singapore is a key market for securities services and plays an influential role in our broader Asean strategy,” said Godins.
Adhami’s “experience and expertise across wholesale and transactional banking, and focus on embracing innovation and the digital agenda, will enable us to refine our strategy in the region to capture new business opportunities and build on our strong momentum,” added Godins.
