HSBC AM names head of Asia multi-asset

Multi-asset2HSBC Asset Management has promoted its chief investment officer for Turkey to the position of head of multi-asset business for all of Asia. Based in Hong Kong, Yigit Onat will be responsible for the bank’s multi-asset team which is also based in Hong Kong. He will report functionally to Jean Charles, global multi-asset CIO at HSBC AM and locally to Cecilia Chan, Asia Pacific CIO. He is taking over from Denis Gould who is retiring after more than 11 years in the role. Onat spent eight years as CIO of the Turkey business where he was also equity desk head in the country and lead fund manager for the local division of HSBC Global Investment Funds. © 2022 funds global asia
