French fund manager targets sustainable China funds market

France under microscopeParis-based DNCA Investments, a subsidiary of Natixis, has launched an ESG-focused Chinese equity fund. The DNCA Invest Sustainable China Equity Fund has been developed on the back of the growth of China’s domestic funds market as well as the increased use of digital technology   Domiciled in Luxembourg, it will be managed by three portfolio managers – Yingying Wu, Matthieu Belondrade and Zhang Zhang. According to DNCA, the trio will be responsible for setting a responsible investment philosophy that will influence stock selection. In addition, the fund will use the MSCI China 10/40 index as its benchmark over the next five years and will mainly invest in companies listed on exchanges in Shanghai and Shenzen. © 2021 funds global asia
