Franklin Templeton hires investment strategist in Apac

ResearchGlobal asset manager Franklin Templeton has appointed Christy Tan as investment strategist for Asia Pacific at Franklin Templeton Institute. Based in Singapore and reporting to chief market strategist and head of Franklin Templeton Institute Stephen Dover, Tan will assume responsibility for the firm’s in-house macroeconomic and thematic research in the newly-created role. Tan previously served as head of markets strategy and research at National Australia Bank . Prior to that, Tan was a local fixed income and currency strategist at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. “Against the macroeconomic backdrop of heightened volatility, [Tan’s] appointment reinforces our commitment to strengthening our research capabilities and delivering data-driven insights to help our clients navigate the financial markets,” said Dover. © 2022 funds global asia
