Endowus bolsters leadership team

teamSingapore-based digital wealth manager Endowus has appointed Hugh Chung as chief investment advisory officer. He will report to chairman and chief investment officer (CIO) Samuel Rhee and will be responsible for the strategic direction of the firm’s investments in both public and private markets. Chung was most recently CIO at a single family office where he oversaw asset allocation, fund selection and portfolio construction. He has also served as managing director at Kadensa Capital and Azentus Capital, two Asian hedge funds. His appointment comes six months after Endowus acquired a majority stake in Hong Kong-based Carret Private, a deal that boosted the firm’s assets under management to more than US$3.7 billion. ©2023 funds global asia
