CSOP crosslists ETF in Singapore and Shenzhen

ShenzhenHong Kong-based CSOP Asset Management has become one of the first fund managers to avail of the ETF link between the exchanges of Singapore and Shenzhen. CSOP has listed its CSOP CSI STAR and CHINEXT 50 Index ETF on the Singapore Exchange (SGX).   The ETF Connect scheme was first proposed in December 2021 when the two exchanges signed a memorandum of understanding to offer investors the opportunity to trade the same funds in either venue. It follows the numerous connect schemes that link the Chinese mainland to other venues in the region. This includes the Stock Connect scheme that links Hong Kong and Mainland China, which was extended in June 2022 to include ETFs. ©2023 funds global asia
