Irish regtech firm AQMetrics has opened a Singapore hub as the first move in its Asian expansion plan.
The risk and reporting platform has added reporting to the Monetary Authority of Singapore to coincide with the office opening.
While the Singapore office will act as a hub for the region, the company is looking to expand into Hong Kong and other Asian centres in the coming years.
“Asia-Pacific is fast becoming a new hotbed for regtech and the next natural step in our expansion strategy was to bring our industry-leading regtech platform to the region,” said Geraldine Gibson, AQMetrics CEO.
Gibson also credited the backing of Enterprise Ireland and support from regional governments.
