Abrdn appoints Apac investment director

Hired 10Former State Street Global Advisors (SSGA) executive Raf Choudhury has been named as investment director for abrdn’s Asia Pacific multi-asset investment solutions (MAIS) team. Based in Sydney, he will report to Irene Goh, head of MAIS for Asia Pacific. Choudhury will be expected to lead abrdn’s Australian funds business and expand its managed account services. He joins from SSGA where he spent 17 years in various portfolio management roles in the UK and Australia. He was most recently head of investment strategy and research in Australia.
