Segantii cleans up in Eurekahedge awards

And-the-winner-isHong Kong-based Segantii Capital Management was the clear winner in the Asian Hedge Fund Awards run by data provider Eurekahedge. The Segantii Asia-Pacific Equity Multi-Strategy won the awards for best Asian multi-strategy fund, best Asian billion-dollar hedge fund and was the overall best Asian hedge fund. Tokyo-based Akito Capital gained two awards for its Akito Fund JPY, which retained the title of best Japanese hedge fund and won the award for most consistent Asia-based fund. Elsewhere, the Tairen China Fund from Shanghai-based Tairen Capital won awards for best Greater China hedge fund and best Asian long-short equity fund.
