State Street Global Advisors hires compliance chief

ComplianceJuanita Li has joined State Street Global Advisors as its head of compliance for the Asia-Pacific region. Based in Hong Kong, Li is tasked with ensuring the firm complies with all necessary regulations in the region. “Her deep understanding of and previous experience in compliance make her an ideal fit to lead our Asian compliance team in today’s complex, rapidly changing regulatory environment,” said Alyssa Albertelli, chief compliance officer at the company. Li, who joins from Aberdeen Asset Management, has worked in compliance for 25 years for companies including Schroders and BlackRock.
