JP Morgan reveals Asian staff appointments

JP_Morgan_Hong_KongJP Morgan Asset Management has named two new fixed income staff in Hong Kong and a hedge fund specialist in Singapore. Julio Callegari, who has worked for the firm since 2004, has moved from Sao Paulo to Hong Kong to serve as lead portfolio manager for Asia local rates and FX. He is joined by Tony Xiao, who has joined the firm as a fixed income credit analyst in the oil and gas and industrials sectors. Callegari, “brings a wealth of global sovereign bond experience to the team”, said Pierre-Yves Bareau, chief investment officer, emerging markets debt. The company has also hired Lyn Ngooi as a hedge fund solutions investment specialist for Asia-Pacific clients, based in Singapore.
