GAM opens Singapore office

Singapore_0Swiss asset manager, GAM, has announced the launch of its Singapore business. The newly opened office will be led by Terence Bong, former head of wholesale for southeast Asia at Templeton Asset Management. Bong will be expected to lead the firm’s business development and client relationships in the Singapore and southeast Asia region. GAM’s chief executive, Peter Sanderson, described the office opening as “an important strategic step” for the firm. “We are planning to grow our business in Asia, including by responding to growing client demand for sustainable solutions in the region,” said Sanderson. © 2021 funds global asia
