Distributor platform Fund Channel comes to Singapore

SingaporeLuxembourg-based fund distribution platform Fund Channel has opened a branch in Singapore to expand its business in Asia. The firm, which is co-owned by Amundi and BNP Paribas Investment Partners, connects fund managers with institutional fund distributors, such as private banks and insurance companies. Established in 2005, the firm says its platform serves more than 100 distributors with funds from more than 400 asset managers. “After having established presence in Switzerland seven years ago to be closer to our clients, we now open a branch in Singapore to demonstrate our commitment vis-à-vis Singaporean institutional fund distributors,” said Pierre-Adrien Domon, head of business development. Lucas Bouziat has moved from Luxembourg to lead the Singapore operation.
