Asia Frontier Capital sets up Luxembourg fund

Luxembourg-on_mapHong Kong-based asset manager Asia Frontier Capital has set up a Luxembourg-domiciled fund to market its frontier market equity strategy in Europe. The fund is part of an umbrella fund managed by Limestone Platform, a fund infrastructure in Luxembourg run by a company from Estonia. “Europe is a huge market and the AFC Asia Frontier Fund offers the best in class exposure to the most interesting and fastest growing parts of Asia,” said Peter de Vries, marketing director. Asia Frontier Capital set up the fund five years ago to invest in fast-growing Asian markets such as Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Vietnam.
